FAQS
-
We are based on the Prehen Road, close to The Everglades Hotel. You can find directions here π
-
Rather than starting with a timetable, we begin with a short phone chat to understand your goals and to see whether Leap Lessons is likely to be the right fit for you or your child.
If it feels like a good match, then we then look at availability together.
Rather than offering ad-hoc lesson times, we ask for all days and times that could work and place students carefully β either into an established small group (for kids) or a solo lesson (for adults).
This makes lessons are well-matched, consistent, and designed to work long-term, which is central to the experience we offer.
-
We only book lessons once we have had an initial phone-call with you.
During this conversation, we will learn more about your needs and address any questions you may have.
To schedule a chat, send us a WhatsApp message at 07988733202 π. -
No, not necessarily. While we encourage anyone interested in music lessons to reach out, we aim to maintain a dedicated community of musicians across all levels and ages.
Due to limited capacity, we'll do our best to accommodate potential clients, but this might not always be possible if our schedule is full. -
Our lessons are 30 minutes long, and you get as much support as you need in between lessons.
Some students come to us for hour-long sessions, but we generally recommend starting with 30 minutes, because you will be surprised how much we will get done!
While hour long sessions can be perfect for more advanced students, we recommend starting small.

Nope! We have everything you'll need. We only suggest buying an instrument once you or your child is sure about continuing.
For guitarists and bassists coming to your first lesson, if you have an instrument, do feel free to bring it along.
-
That depends on the child, but we find that age 6 is a good starting point for formal music lessons.
-
We welcome adult music-lovers of all ages, including the many mums, dads grandparents who jam with us every week πͺπ π΅
-
Yes! We always encourage parents to be fully involved in their childβs journey π
However, if your child is distracted by your presence, we might suggest that you try sitting out.
-
We are a Popular Music school - so, we tend not not to focus on anything that falls outside of this realm e.g. musical theatre, classical or jazz.
-
Nothing π If you have an instrument, feel free to bring it, but we have everything youβll need
-
We donβt rush into taking on new clients, because we see our relationship with our core students as a long-term one. So, all students start on our βcasualβ list, which gives both you and us time to find out if we are the right music school for you π. Once everyone is happy to continue on a weekly basis, we will work with you to fit in with your schedule.

βGood enoughβ based on on whose standards? π
We meet every student at the ability they are at, and help them get to the next level. πͺ
